Towns Bluff Park
This is the perfect place to get “back to nature”. The day use area has two paved boat ramps. The RV Park and Primitive campgrounds are located on the Altamaha River
The Big House
Built around the turn of the century, the home once served as a private home, a boarding house, a restaurant, and a floral shop. Now owned by Jeff Davis County, it is the center of community activities hosting weddings, reunions, festivals and much more.
Peaches to the Beaches
Established in 2005, Peaches to the Beaches, held the second weekend in March, is Georgia's Longest Yard Sale covering over 200 miles from Barnesville and Culloden to Brunswick and the Golden Isles in Georgia.
Hazlehurst BBQ Fest
Professional Pitmasters gather at the Big House the first weekend in May to compete for over $5,000 in this Georgia Barbecue Association sanctioned event.
